Blooms on Ice wasn't born from a business plan. In fact, starting a business wasn't even on my radar!
It all began while hosting a bridal shower for my now daughter-in-love.❤️ I've always believed that the magic of a memorable celebration is in the details—the little unexpected touches that make guests smile, stop, take notice, and say, “Oh, wow! I've never seen that before!”
While dreaming up ways to make that special occasion even more beautiful, a little idea began to bloom.
And just like that, Blooms on Ice was born.
It's not just about the Blooms
What started as a creative experiment has blossomed into a small, locally owned Charlotte business creating handcrafted floral ice displays for birthday celebrations, bridal showers, weddings, corporate events, holiday gatherings, and unforgettable gifts.
Each Bloom is lovingly handmade, thoughtfully designed, and completely unique. No two are ever exactly alike—and that's part of their charm.
But Blooms on Ice has never been just about keeping a bottle chilled.
It’s about the experience. The element of surprise. The conversations. The compliments. The photographs. Those little moments that turn an ordinary gathering into a lasting memory.
But perhaps my favorite part of this unexpected adventure is seeing the genuine excitement and smiles that each Bloom inspires. I love watching someone discover a Blooms on Ice display for the first time—the surprise, the curiosity, the compliments, and the conversations that follow.
To me, that’s what makes it so special. It’s not simply about creating something gorgeous or keeping a bottle beautifully chilled. It’s about bringing people together, sparking conversations, and elevating a gathering into an unforgettable experience.

Every creative business needs a little supervision! Meet Ollie Bear, our self-appointed Chief Barketing Officer. His responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, offering unsolicited opinions, demanding attention, and reminding everyone who's really in charge.
He may not arrange the flowers, but he certainly runs the show.
Every Bloom is handcrafted with love and supervised by a very demanding little boss.
